# ARADAR

> The music player for producers.

ARADAR is the music player for producers on macOS – filter your own music by key, BPM, label, and loudness, find the right reference in seconds, and drag it straight into your DAW.

ARADAR is a desktop application for macOS. It is not a web app, not a sample-pack browser, and not a DJ tool. The workflow it supports is:

1. Import a producer's reference track library (drag a folder into the app).
2. Analyze each track for loudness (LUFS, LRA, true peak), dynamics (RMS, crest factor), and a 10-band frequency profile (FFT with +4.5 dB/octave tilt – the industry-standard tonal-balance slope).
3. Build "custom reference curves" from a label's catalog (or any sub-genre) by selecting 3+ tracks and computing their median spectrum.
4. Compare your finished tracks against any curve, including a ±1σ "corridor" showing the natural variance of the source material.
5. Track demo submissions to labels through a built-in pipeline.

## Privacy posture

ARADAR is a fully local Mac app. No telemetry, no cloud sync, no analytics, no AI training on user data. The library, audio files, ratings, submissions, and frequency profiles never leave the user's machine. The only outbound connections are: license verification (~once per 30 days), software update checks (anonymous), and crash reports (opt-out, IP-stripped).

aradar.app (this marketing website) sets no cookies for visitors who have not granted consent, writes nothing to localStorage or sessionStorage, and drops no fingerprinting markers. Website analytics is Google Analytics 4 loaded through Google Tag Manager, gated behind the cookie consent banner: until a visitor grants Analytics consent, GA4 runs in Consent Mode v2 "denied" state (cookieless, anonymous ping requests only – no identifiers, no cookies); after consent it counts anonymous page-views, and consent can be withdrawn any time via the Cookie preferences link in the footer. One functional carve-out is affiliate attribution: when a visitor follows an affiliate link carrying a ?aff=<id> URL parameter, Lemon Squeezy's affiliate.js script sets one short-lived first-party cookie on aradar.app holding only the affiliate id, so the affiliate is credited when the visitor buys. Visitors who never follow an affiliate link see no cookie set. The Lemon Squeezy checkout itself opens in an iframe from shop.aradar.app, a subdomain that CNAMEs to Lemon Squeezy's checkout infrastructure; cookies set inside that iframe are scoped to shop.aradar.app and are not visible to or settable from aradar.app proper.
